The Thomas PAR 36 4-Lite Molefay are commonly also known as ‘audience blinders’. This 4 cell Molefay contains two circuits of Par 36 lamps. Designed with ease of use in mind, they feature robust lightweight aluminium construction, semi-gloss black electrostatic paint finish. In addition, using the heavy-duty yoke with positive lock off, and using a tee bar, enables the unit to be set at any desired angle.
In addition, each lamp bank will pan independently to alter the light effect. The Molefay uses standard 650W PAR 36 lamps. Furthermore, lamp change itself is simplicity due to quick release knobs on lamp retaining ring which are chrome plated and are fitted with a safety mesh as standard. This is to that ensure the lamp will not move during transport or whilst being used.
The blinder is particularly suitable for the illumination of areas and specific lighting effects in the auditorium at events, rock concerts as well as in theatres and musicals.
