Description

The LiteDeck stage provides a lightweight yet robust staging solution.  The standard size of each sheet is 8ft by 4ft, but a wide range of shapes and sizes are also available. To create a low stage, the sheets can be laid straight onto the ground, however, this is dependant on how level the surface is. Alternatively, to give height to the LiteDeck stage, legs can be added to the sections. These legs range in size from 16.5cm (one step) in height, up to 92.5cm (five steps).  In addition, the sections are easy to convertible to the rolling riser system.

The hard birch top is made from durable 19mm plywood, painted matt black. Furthermore, the top is connected by a set of bolts which allow removal, maintenance and replacement over the life of the deck. In addition, the welded side profiles provide ultimate strength.

The LiteDeck stage decking system is manufactured from high tensile aluminium alloy grade 6082T6. The material has a 0.2% proof stress of 225MN/m2. The sections are extruded and comply with BSEN755-2. The decking frame is constructed through the TIG welding process and is carried out in accordance to the specifications laid out in BS3019: part 1: Specification for TIG welding of aluminium by welders certified to BS: EN:287-2: Approval testing of welders for fusion welding – part 2: aluminium and its alloys.

Accessories

Accessories include handrail and stairs. The flexible and adjustable stair system for the LiteDeck stage can also be extended in incremental steps. This, therefore, offers various step configurations and solutions for all types of applications. LiteDeck handrails are available in two configurations, with the appropriate handrail system dependent upon the application and therefore the required legislative conformity. Firstly, the lightweight open design is suitable for staging applications where the area will not be used for public access. Secondly is the lightweight spooked design that incorporates vertical rails. These rails offer additional protection in any areas that will be open to public access.
